Lazy Mountain Acres is a gorgeous 39-acre wedding and event venue nestled between Lazy Mountain and the Matanuska River in Palmer, Alaska. Lazy Mountain Acres is a female-owned, Alaska Native-owned, family business, located just 45 miles from Anchorage.

This romantic setting consists of our terraced peony fields, planted with 2,500 peony roots of 14 different varieties, surrounded by flourishing wild forests, stunning mountains, and sprawling hay fields. Say your wedding vows at one of our three beautiful outdoor ceremony sites.

Host your reception in our new 40' x 80' Pavillion designed to offer extraordinary ambience for your special dat. The beautiful pavilion is elegantly adorned with chandeliers, vintage-style Edison patio lights, white sheeer drapes, a dance floor with a rustic oak barrel bar with live edge wood top for your beverage service and hors d’oeuvres. All packages include your choice of 5’ round or 8’ rectangular tables and Chiavari fruitwood chairs with cushions. Choose one of our arches, and from a variety of lanterns, candles, baskets, and other decorative items.
We understand the importance of comfort and convenience, which is why we have constructed a spacious restroom building. This facility includes separate men's and women's restrooms and space for changing if necessary.
Lazy Mountain Acres is pleased to offer quality China, flatware, glassware, linens, and other rental items for your wedding. All our rental items are on-site, so you don’t have to worry about picking the items up or cleaning and returning them after your event.
Stay with us
There are two residences on the property, the Garden View Bridal Suite and Mountain View Suite, each with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen, dining room and living room that can sleep up to 8 guests each. The Bridal Suite is romantically decorated and features a full-length mirror.
Lazy Mountain Acres is pet-friendly and welcoming to couples who want to incorporate their furry companions into their ceremony. The property is Handicap Accessible with ample parking available onsite.
